We are all broken

I love music that is honest (and people who are honest) and honestly this song speaks to me because I can relate. I can relate based on my past and the terrible things I have done. I can rejoice because I’m no longer that person.

I can also relate because daily I struggle with sin. I always will. The monster inside me wants to steal my joy. It often succeeds with the lies its feeding me, the manipulation I fall prey to.

This is one of my new favorite bands, thanks to my daughter. Similar to Flyleaf they scream out their passion and feelings. They don’t scream negativity and evil. Great messages are worth screaming. Need to be screamed. I’m screaming along.

I don’t want to be sick and disgusting.
